The PJC Chamber Singers will present their annual spring concert, An Evening with the Paris Junior College Chamber Singers, in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, 207 S. Church St. Admission is free.

Paris Junior College Adult Education and Family Literacy and the Lamar County Literacy Council invite current, future and former GED students to attend Transition Day from 8 a.m. to noon in the McLemore Student Center on the PJC campus. Transition Day is an event designed to help GED students transition into the college setting, a trade school program, the military or into the workforce.

The PJC Music Student Spring Recital in the Shaw Recital Hall in the Music Building. The recital will be free, and will feature voice and piano students of Pat Fowzer and Jennie Vaughan.

The Swingers’ of Birches Juried Student Exhibit will open in the McLemore Student Center following the awards ceremony in the ballroom. The exhibit runs through May 2.

A fundraising concert sponsored by the PJC chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, the national organization for business students, will be held in the Old Gym on the PJC campus. The concert features FM South, made up primarily of PJC Dragons baseball players. Opening for FM South will be Blackwater Woods. Tickets are $4 in advance from any PBL member or $5 at the door.

The Paris Junior College Chamber Singers will sing the National Anthem at a Frisco Rough Riders baseball game in the Dr Pepper Ball Park at the corner of Rough Riders Drive and Diamond Avenue in Frisco, Texas.
