Posted or edited: 10.28.09 ... PJC Information Services Paris Junior College – Sulphur Springs Center will conduct GED test registration at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4. This is not a come-and-go registration, so applicants must be present at 1 p.m. to register. Seating for the test is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and it is limited. Registration typically takes one to two hours to complete. Applicants need to bring a valid, government-issued ID with proof of Texas residency. Seventeen-year-olds must provide an official Withdrawal From School form and a Parental Consent form. These forms will be available at registration. Sixteen-year-olds are only eligible to take the GED test with an original court order. The cost for taking the GED test is $60, or, for those who retesting, $12 per test. No childcare is provided and children are not allowed in the registration or test room. The GED test will be given on Friday, Nov. 6. If registration is not completed on Nov. 4, the candidate will not be allowed to test. Questions should be directed to the PJC Testing Center by calling 903-782-0446. |
