Members of the PJC Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Student Organization (H.A.R.T.S) visited L3 Communications in Greenville, Texas, April 24 to inspect the company’s 1,250-ton chiller unit, which is controlled using the same digital technology available to PJC HVAC students in the classroom. “Students had a chance to see first hand the use of the direct digital controller system they have been studying in class,” said instructor Jenna Ormsbee. |
