PJC Information Services The Airframe and Powerplant Systems class will be set up to instruct aircraft technicians who have the required time spent on the aircraft but still lack some of the knowledge to complete the written, oral and practical test. This class will offer 30 percent hands-on training and 70 percent classroom lecture training. This classes will enhance the fundamental technical procedures in the required subject matter necessary to pass the written, oral and practical certification as a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Technician. Students must have 18 months of practical experience with procedures, materials and tools on either airframe or powerplant, or must have 30 months of combined practical experience on both airframe and powerplant to receive both the Airframe and Powerplant General Knowledge and the Airframe and Powerplant Systems certifications.
