Posted or edited: 08.11.10 ... PJC Information Services Are you interested in learning how to have fun with floral designs? Do you like “hands-on” learning? The basic floral design seminar will teach you how to have fun with your designs as you learn: tools and techniques for dry silk and fresh floral designs; wiring and tapeing techniques; and floral design forms and basic principles of design. This class will give you the student an introduction to: color theory and applications; flow and foliage identification; seasonal designs; event designs; and where to find great flowers year round. (FMKT1000 Basic Floral Design I) Each student will receive a kit which includes: floral tape, florist wire, wire cutters, glue gun, dry floral foam, designer bowl, mixed silks, and mixed greenery. Fee: $112 (Includes supply kit) Dates to be announced. |
