PJC’s Electromechanical Technology program emphasizes problem-solving skills. Posted or edited: 12.13.06 ... PJC Information Services Paris Junior College offers an associate in applied science degree (AAS) in electromechanical technology. This two-year program readies students to work in industrial maintenance or other related areas, with academic and hands-on emphasis in the areas of electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, computerized automated systems, industrial operations and current industry practices. Instructional emphasis is also placed on understanding and troubleshooting electromechanical systems. Paris Junior College also offers two levels of certificates that include only technical courses. These certificates will enable a graduate to work in the vast majority of the jobs available to the two-year program graduates.
