This one-day workshop will focus on strategies for painting outdoors. We will concentrate on how to make successful paintings from nature’s simple raw materials — a clump of trees, a hillside, the corner of a pond or the edge of a field. This class is designed for those who are new to Plein Air Painting or want to improve their confidence and skills. Lots of practical advice on equipment, set up, selection of motif, as well as design, values and color harmony. Special emphasis on achieving a sense of atmosphere and light in your paintings. You may view the instructors website at: http://www.deborahparis-apaintinglife.blogspot.com.
