Students in PJC’s Upward Bound program for high school students team up to “walk” on metal platforms, part of the program’s “Ropes” class. The class teaches teamwork and the importance of trust and friendship when relying on others to reach goals. Upward Bound students also attend college-level classes and live on campus during the first summer semester.
