Judges for the 2005 United Way Brownie Bake-Off Thursday morning found the assignment as sweet as the decision was difficult. Paula White, right, took the first place ribbon; Brad Gifford, center, second place; and Sharon Wood, third place. The winning brownies, along with those of other contestants, were to be sold later Thursday during PJC’s United Way drive kick-off event behind the Administration Building.
