46 ADN students receive pins Friday evening

Angela Clark of Paris received the Outstanding Academic Award at the recent Paris Junior College Associate Degree Nursing pinning ceremony. She was among the 46 students graduating from the program.

Forty-six Paris Junior College associate degree nursing graduates received pins during ceremonies held Friday at First Baptist Church in Paris. Graduates honored for perfect attendance in both classroom and clinicals were Angie Allen, Mary Cline and Sarah McNabb. Students receiving recognition for perfect attendance in the classroom were Tory Branum, Jennifer Holley, Paul Britt, Kim Hruby, Abby Huie, Sarah McCloud, Amy Phillips, Breanna Strawn, Melissa Schneider, Julie Suggs, Katrina Tennison, Shelly Terrones, Tonya Traylor, and Kristi Saenz. Amanda Boehlar and Becky Carter had perfect attendance in clinicals. Boehlar, of Paris, was also named the Outstanding Clinical Student. The Outstanding Academic Award went to Angela Clark of Paris. Paul Britt of Paris won the Student’s Choice Award. The Metamorphosis Award for overall growth during the ADN program went to Clayton Lyons of South Sulphur.
