64 ADN graduates receive their pins Friday

Sixty-four Paris Junior College associate degree nursing graduates received pins during ceremonies held Friday at First Baptist Church in Paris. Graduates and their families and friends filled the sanctuary as the candidates were presented their nursing pins, and instructors handed out special awards. Students receiving recognition for perfect attendance in the classroom were Brittany Ballard of Blossom, Samantha Beggs of Paris, Amy Luna of Sulphur Springs and Dana Sadler of Greenville. Macey Martello of Cooper was named the Outstanding Clinical Student. Receiving the award for maintaining the highest average was Macey Martello of Cooper. Student's Choice Award, a special recognition selected and given by the students, went to Teresa Hines of Clarksville and Ramon Marrero of Talco. The Metamorphosis Award, which went to the student showing the greatest improvement and growth throughout the nursing program, was presented to Stephanie Stringer of Clarksville.
