Collins Masonic Lodge donates scholarships to four PJC students

Collins Masonic Lodge 356, of Tigertown, Texas, recently awarded four $500 scholarship to students from the Chisum school district currently attending Paris Junior College. Representatives of the Collins Masonic Lodge 356 from Tigertown, Texas awarded four $500 scholarships to Paris Junior College students recently. On hand to give the awards were Worshipful Master Jayson Coward, Steward Jodi Birdsong, Lodge Secretary Larry Stahl, and Junior Deacon Ricky Lucas. Also on hand was PJC Institutional Advancement/Alumni Affairs Director Derald Bulls. Receiving scholarships are Tessla Rickman, Kassidy Kelley, Reily Cunningham and Kayleigh Johnson, all from the Chisum school district. “This is an ongoing thing and we’ve already started with donations for next year through the lodge membership,” said Stahl. “That’s how we raise funds, a pass the hat through our membership. We’re just happy to be able to help these students and hope that we can give them a little step up on their education.”
