Responsibilities: This position performs custodial duties and other general maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, current Texas driver’s license and insurability with college insurance carrier required. Successful candidate should have a minimum of two years of custodial experience. Candidate must be able to perform some heavy lifting duties and be familiar with floor maintenance equipment. Candidate must possess the ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, and the ability to exercise sound work and safety practices.

Salary: The beginning salary on the Custodial Salary Schedule for this 12 month position is $ 9.13 per hour.

Fringe Benefits: This position is eligible for health, life, and optional insurance coverage including dental, long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
