Responsibilities: The Director of Human Resources coordinates and directs all human resource activities for Paris Junior College under the direction of the President. The Director of Human Resources is the institution’s Affirmative Action Officer.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related area required. Master’s degree in business or related area preferred. Minimum three years experience in Human Resources. Professional certification. Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action guidelines. Knowledge of federal and state labor laws. Computer skills required, especially with spreadsheets. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work well with people.

Salary: The salary for this 12-month position is commensurate with education and experience.

Fringe Benefits: This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages includes dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas or Optional Retirement Program, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
