Drama Department will present “Angels Fall”

Published or Revised October 31, 2007

Paris Junior College's Drama Department will present Angels Fall by Lanford Wilson in performances at 7:30 p.m. on Nov., 2, 3 and 9, and at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 and 11, according to Ann Gerrity, drama and speech instructor. The play casts unlikely companions confined to the sanctuary of a remote mission in New Mexico, while a nuclear accident has closed the roads. Each captive is shown to be at an important crossroad in their life and this unexpected pause allows for reflection and redemption as they act out a "rehearsal for the end of the world." Some language in the play may not be appropriate for children under age 13. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door each performance. Or you may call 903-782-0402 for reservations and ticket information.
