GED prep classes set in SS

The Adult Education and Literacy Consortium will hold an orientation at the Paris Junior College - Sulphur Springs Center for persons wishing to enroll in Adult Education/GED Preparation classes, according to Janie Bonham, director. The orientation will be held from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. or 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., March 7-10. This special session is limited to 25 people. Reservations are required. Call 903-885-7816.

Participants are required to attend four sessions before being placed into a class. Classes start March 21.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and provide a valid social security number. Persons 17 years of age may attend if they have an official withdrawal from school, parental consent, and provide a social security number. Court-ordered 16 year olds must have a copy of the court order stating that they are required to attend Adult Education (GED) classes through Paris Junior College. No one will be admitted to class until the next orientation session in March.

Pre-registration is required for all sixteen and seventeen year olds desiring to enroll in Adult Education and Family Literacy classes.
