Representatives of the Joe Howard Memorial Foundation recently stopped by Paris Junior College to make a donation authorized by the foundation's Board of Directors to fulfill the endowment established in memory of the late Paris EMS Paramedic Joe Howard. The Joe Howard Endowment was established following Howard’s tragic death in a motorcycle accident in October 2013, and will assist future paramedics attend the College’s emergency medical services program. Proceeds from the September Pappa Joe’s Fishing Tournament and Memorial Motorcycle Ride, along with efforts of his co-workers and friends from the Paris EMS, created the endowment. Donations toward the Joe Howard EMS Endowment may also be made to Paris Junior College, 2400 Clarksville Street, Paris, TX 75460.
