Gatlin Education Services

We now offer more in-depth, noncredit career training courses in association with Gatlin Education Services (GES), the world’s largest provider of online, instructor-supported career training to colleges and universities. These web-based programs are designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional-caliber positions for many in-demand occupations. Coursework is completed independently, but instructors are actively involved in the students’ online learning experiences. They respond to any questions or concerns as well as encouraging and motivating students to succeed. Each program has a set of lessons and tests; grades are a combination of computer-graded tests and the instructor’s evaluation of the students’ work. All materials are included. Students love the quality, as well as the convenience, of anytime, anywhere learning.

Education To Go

Now you can update your skills, discover a new talent, or chart a career path at your own pace and at your convenience with on-line courses. All you need is Internet access and a Web browser. All instruction takes place on your computer at home or at work. This is not a classroom course. No textbook is required. Read your lessons and ask questions of your instructor at the time most convenient to you.

A new section of each course starts monthly. If enrolling in a series of two or more courses, please be sure to space the start date for each course at least two months apart. Two lessons are released each week for the six-week duration of the course. You will have access to all the released lessons until the course ends.

You do not have to be present when lessons are released. An interactive discussion area accompanies each lesson and automatically closes two weeks after the lesson is released.

The final exam is released the same day as the last lesson. Once the final exam has been released, you have two weeks to complete all course work, including the final exam. A 10-day extension is available if you fall behind.
