East Central University has signed two Paris Junior College baseball players, Kyle Britt of Paris (North Lamar H.S.) and Trey Mound of Flower Mound (Flower Mound Marcus H.S.), to play in Ada, Oklahoma this fall. “I really liked it at ECU, they have a good program,” said Britt. “They’re graduating 22 seniors this year so they need people to come in and fill leadership roles. That’s where I feel like I am right now. I’m going to miss all the guys and coaches. Going from high school to college was a big jump. As a high school player you think you know everything and going to college it’s like you don’t know everything. They really taught me a lot that I didn’t know about playing.” “I’m bittersweet about ending this chapter,” said Mound. “But I’m excited about starting a new chapter.” “Trey and Kyle will be major players in the team success at East Central Oklahoma,” said PJC Baseball Coach and Athletic Director Deron Clark. “Their performance and commitment to our program here at PJC has been tremendous. ECU is gaining a very high level of experience and integrity for their baseball program and we wish them the best in their future endeavors.”
