PJC Dragons ranked No. 17 in the nation

The Paris Junior College Dragons, going into the holiday season with a 10-1 season record, have made the national rankings for the first time this season. The Dragons are ranked No. 17 in the NJCAA national basketball poll. The Dragons went unranked throughout last season when they won the NJCAA National Championship. Coach Bill Foy's Dragons are 4-0 in Region XIV Conference play, tied at the top of the standings with Angelina College. Tyler, Panola and Lon Morris are only a game back with 3-1 records. None of the teams play again until they return from the Christmas and New Year holidays.
