Paris Junior College drama students from the honor theatre fraternity Delta Psi Omega, rehearse their upcoming free comedy, to be performed on April 10-11 at 7 p.m. In this scene Samantha Turner lays out marriage plans to her date J.J. Freelen - 30 seconds after meeting him.

Paris Junior College sophomore Haley Hines is directing an all-student production to be performed in the Ray Karrer Theater, April 10-11 at 7 p.m. Members of Delta Psi Omega, a national honor society for participants in collegiate theater, are producing, acting and singing in the performance. The production is a comedic medley of songs and scenes. Musical numbers are student-selected from various shows. Dramatic vignettes are from the show, "Check Please," a comedy following a series of blind dates that couldn't get any worse - until they do. "It's very interesting, " said Hines. "This is my first show to direct by myself completely. I'm really excited about it. It's been really chaotic but it's been fun. I would do it again. " Pointing to stage manager Cody Rice, Hines said. "He's the actors' go-to guy." "I write down everything and get props, " Rice said of his role. DPO is offering the play for free. The Ray Karrer Theater is located in the Administration Building on the northwest corner of the campus. For more information call 903-782-0488. Cast List Girl: Sydney Case of Paris; Guy: J.J.
