PJC employees honored for service
Fall convocation was held Friday as Paris Junior College marked the return of faculty to campus in preparation of the fall semester beginning August 28. One of the highlights of a day of meetings and training was recognition of faculty and staff for their time at the college. Ten year recognition pins (top) went to Jewelry Technology Instructor Serina Omori, Accountant Kim Brown, Institutional Advancement/Alumni Affairs Director Derald Bulls, Marketing and Public Relations Director Margaret Ruff, Maintenance Custodian Julia Morris, Emergency Medical Services Coordinator/Instructor Blaine Jones, Admissions and Records Clerk Dana Smock, Controller Keitha Carlton, and Workforce Education Inventory Clerk Norwyn Carey. Receiving pins for 15 years of service at PJC (center) were President Pam Anglin, Building Mechanic/Custodian Plant Operations Roy Dixon, Groundskeeper Garry Parker, Small Business Development Center Secretary JoAnn Seiber, Plant Operations Director Randall Cox, Continuing Education Director Rita Pringle, Maintenance Supervisor Mike Ormsbee, and Associate Degree Nursing Instructor Tom Bass. PJC-Sulphur Springs Center Mathematics Instructor Cynthia Steward was honored for 20 years of service (bottom left). Receiving their 30-year pins were Director of Student Life Kenneth Webb and English Instructor Marsha Dennis (bottom right).
