The Third Annual Juried Student Art Exhibit was held by the Paris Junior College Art Department on Tuesday, May 5. Awards were presented during the opening reception, and the show will remain open until May 12 at the Foyer Gallery. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Winners by category include: Ceramics, Level One: First, Beverly Gilbert of Paris; second, Rebecca Wilson of Paris; third, Candace Weist of Paris; and honorable mention to Adelene Martel of Hugo, Okla. Ceramics, Level Two: First and honorable mention, Sharon Lynch of Hugo, Okla. and second and third, Tim Shelton of Paris. Painting, Level One: First, Liz Washburn of Antlers, Okla.; second, Matt Morton of Arthur City; third, Jessica Holland of Paris; and honorable mentions to Skylar Hines of Brookston (two) and Amanda Lair-Barnett of Paris. Painting, Level Two: First and honorable mention to Jenaveve Lester of Blossom; second to Wilson; and third to Lair-Barnett.
