PJC hosts University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

Students interested in health occupation studies at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center should attend an informational session on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 12:20 p.m. in the Paris Junior College Math & Science Building Room 207. PJC's Biomedical and Laboratory Science program has five articulation agreements with UT MD Anderson to facilitate the entry of PJC students into their programs. These programs are: clinical laboratory science, cytogenetic technology, cytotechnology, histotechnology, and molecular genetic technology. Dr. Brandy Greenhill, PhD, MLS (ASCP), is an associate professor and Clinical Laboratory Science program director at the university and she will discuss their programs. To qualify for academic transfer to the UT MD Anderson School of Health Professions, a student must successfully complete the biomedical sciences program at PJC, maintaining at least a 3.5 GPA cumulatively and in science and mathematics college-level courses.
