PJC offering 6-8th grader coding class

The Paris Junior College - Greenville Center is offering a class for sixth through eighth graders next week on beginner Python programming. Coding and basics of circuitry will be taught using a Raspberry Pi, which students may take home and enjoy.

One of the most widely used programming languages in the world, Python will be used to provide an introduction to professional coding languages.  A simple language with straightforward syntax that can be easily understood, Python is used for web development and as a support language for software developers.

The course will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 25-28. The class will be held at the PJC-Greenville Center at 4500 Monty Stratton Parkway in Greenville.
