Published or Revised January 13, 2017

Paris Junior College will offer a men’s and women’s basketball camp in June. The information for each camp is listed below, and links to registration forms may be found at, under either Men’s Basketball or Women’s Basketball.

The PJC men’s basketball camp is for boys who were in first through eighth grade this past school year. It will be held June 13-17, from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Hunt Center. Call 903-782-0207, 903-782-0395 or 903-782-0218 for more information.

The camp includes stretch and agility, station drills, daily contests, film and lecture, lunch, team games, league games, and daily awards. The camp fee is $120, and $50 must accompany each registration form. The balance is due during check-in. The fee includes a regulation basketball, camp evaluation, lunch, camp t-shirt, camp packet, and daily awards. Each camper will need to dress in athletic shoes, socks, shorts and a t-shirt.

The PJC women’s basketball camp will hold two sessions from June 20-24. The morning session is for girls ages 7-13 and will run from 9 a.m. to noon. The afternoon session is for girls aged 14-17 from 1:00 to 3 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Hunt Center. Call 903-782-0218 or 214-734-4533 for more information.

The morning camp for younger girls involves fundamental drills and skills development; contests, games and tournament play; guest speakers on leadership; and 1-on-1, 2-on-2, and 3-on-3 basketball concepts. The afternoon session for older girls is aimed at high school level players to develop higher level skills and is structured similarly to PJC women’s basketball team workouts, including 1-on-1, 2-on-2, and 3-on-3 skills development.

The first session is $75 and the second session is $60; a $25 deposit must accompany each registration form. Campers are encouraged to bring water bottles and a snack, and dress in basketball shoes, socks, shorts and t-shirt.
