PJC Board of Regents sets special election

The Paris Junior College Board of Regents canvassed votes from the May 10, 2014 election for Place 4 and Place 7 on Monday morning. Charles A. Lynch won the election for Place 4. In Place 7, as a result of a tie between Jim Bell and Frankie Norwood, a run-off election will be held on June 21 at two locations, the Lamar County Courthouse Annex and the First Baptist Church in Cunningham. Early voting will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 9 through June 17 at the Annex and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 12, 13 and 14 at the First Baptist Church in Cunningham. On June 21, voting will be held at both locations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
