PJC Board of Regents will wait for election to fill vacancy

At their meeting Monday night, the Paris Junior College Board of Regents voted to leave the District 2 position vacant, deferring it to a May 2016 election.

“Elections have brought positive action and publicity to Paris Junior College,” said Regent Jim Bell. “I think the elections are important.”

Regents Curtis Fendley and Dr. Clifton Wilkerson reported on their attendance at the Association of Community College Trustees Annual Congress, saying they attended multiple informative sessions and learned a great deal that will assist their governance of the college.
