PJC Student Recital Thursday Evening

Paris Junior College students will perform a selection of musical performances on Thursday evening in the Shaw Recital Hall at PJC on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. Chance Hiller, mezzo, will perform “Who’ll Buy My Lavender” by Edward German. Mezzo Katharine Wiebe will perform “Sebben Crudele,” by Antonio Caldara and “Widmung” by Robert Schumann. Tenor Greg Morrison will perform “Old Man” by Neil Young and “She’s Not There” by Rod Argent. “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Ray and Rick Nowels will be performed by mezzo Mae Mabry, and soprano Anna Lowrie will perform “Per la Gloria D’adoravi” by Giovanni Buononcini. Lowrie and Mabry are joined by Chris Watts to perform “Flightless Bird” by Iron & Wine. All vocalists are from the studio of PJC music instructor Philip Briggs.
