PJC to hold Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday

Paris Junior College will hold its annual Veterans Day ceremony this Friday, Nov. 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the DeShong Chapel. PJC students will conduct the pledge of allegiance and national anthem. After a welcome, Dr. Kenneth Haley will recite, "In Flander's Field." Audience members will be welcomed to share recitations about their family members who served. Dr. Haley will read names of PJC students lost in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. A wreath ceremony will be performed by current PJC student veterans Nora Hernandez and Matthew Rozell, concluding with the playing of "Taps."
