At the Paris Junior College pinning ceremony for students receiving a vocational nursing certificate, students received top awards (shown from left, above). The award for highest grade point average went to Stephanie Carlisle; Karina McClure received the Metamorphosis Award; and co-winners of the Hopkins-Nicholas Award for outstanding performance in both classroom and clinical training were Kristi Baggett and Sherri Cano. Below, students received an award for perfect attendance. Paris Junior College Holds Vocational Nursing Pinning Ceremony Paris Junior College's Heath Occupations Department held award and pinning ceremonies and handed out certificates to fifty-five students in vocational nursing May 8 in the Hunt Center. The Hopkins-Nicholas Award for outstanding performance in both classroom and clinical training was shared this year, going to Kristi Baggett of Paris and Sherri Cano of Greenville. The award for highest grade point average went to Stephanie Carlisle of Emory. Karina McClure of Greenville received the Metamorphosis Award for exhibiting the most growth through the entire vocational program. Perfect attendance awards went to Kristi Baggett, Danielle Franland and Clayton Hanley of Paris; Jennifer Boykin and Stephanie Macias of Sulphur Springs; Sherri Bunch of Wolfe City; Jenifer Cummins, Becki Jaynes, Jerry Jaynes and Ben Peques of Como; Karissa Nichols of Dike; Karina McClure and Nicole Svrcek of Greenville; Teresa Watson of Lake Creek and Brandi Webb of Pattonville.
