Paris Junior College provides scholarships to qualifying students in two ways: the Paris Junior College Memorial Foundation, established by the PJC Alumni and Friends Association, has endowed several scholarships, and the college provides many other scholarships from within its budget. Additionally, federal programs such as Pell Grants offer substantial financial assistance to qualifying applicants.
All scholarship applicants must fill out the PJC General Scholarship Application and the federal Pell Grant application. All scholarship recipients must enroll for a full course load. Other requirements will be listed under the specific scholarships.
A PDF file also is available listing many other scholarship opportunities available to students and prospective students. These scholarships are not offered directly by Paris Junior College and do not constitute a complete listing of all scholarships available. Students are urged to seek out other scholarship opportunities that may be available. Scholarships are listed by the month during which the scholarships’ application deadline falls.

For students considering a four-year institution, transfer scholarships are available. Among those is a $5,000 Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science (BAAS) completion degree to the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Click here to find out how to apply for it. Also available is the Terry Foundation Terry Scholar program for students transferring to participating Texas public universities.
