Transition Day set at PJC to assist GED students

Adult Education and Family Literacy of Paris Junior College extends an invitation to current, former and future GED students to attend Transition Day.

Transition Day is an event designed to help GED students transition into the college setting, a trade school program or into the workforce.

Transition Day will be held Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Paris Junior College Student Center Ballroom.

Guests from local industries and agencies will be on site to share details about their organizations, the expectations they have of their employees and how to gain employment. Paris Junior College representatives will also share valuable information about college procedures, expectations and guidelines.

Transition Day is free. To reserve your spot, call Janet Smith at 903.782.0424. Transition Day on-site registration takes place Nov. 15 from 8 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. in the PJC Student Center Ballroom. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
