Tuesday reception marks PJC student art exhibit opening

Published or Revised December 01, 2014

The public is invited to attend a reception and enjoy the work of Paris Junior College visual art students on Tuesday Dec. 2, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. The semester exhibit is in the Foyer Gallery, located on the southeast corner of the Paris Campus. “This fall 2014 semester will highlight the amazing talents of our skilled student artists in the mediums of drawing, painting, two-dimensional design, ceramics, sculpture, and digital photography,” said PJC art instructor Susan Moore. “In spite of the fact that these are artists-in-training, the level of their achievements is especially obvious in this body of work.” Students and faculty will be available at the reception to discuss the challenges, the goals, and the achievements on display in the exhibit. The showing is free and will remain open through Dec. 10. For more information, call 903-782-0438 or email smoore@parisjc.edu.
