Wide selection of courses offered this fall

Classes ranging from accounting and arts to Spanish and speech are being offered at Paris Junior College during the fall semester that begins on Aug. 29.

PJC offers an expanded list of academic programs that make it a perfect place to earn an associate’s degree in preparation for university transfer. The college also offers a long list of technical and vocational programs to prepare students for better job opportunities.

In addition to the traditional classroom courses, PJC offers courses via the Internet, as well as telecourses to classroom locations.

On-campus registration for fall classes begin at the Greenville Center on Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration will continue at the Greenville campus through Aug. 25.

Registration will be conducted on the Sulphur Springs Center campus Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will also continue through Aug. 25.

On-campus registration at the Paris campus will be conducted Aug. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Aug. 25 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Eligible students can register online until Aug. 11 at Online registration will resume on Aug. 16 and continue through Aug. 25.

“Students registering on our Web site before Aug. 11 are reminded that payment for classes must be made by Aug. 15,” said Admissions Director Sheila Reece. “Students registering online between Aug. 16 and 25 must pay by Aug. 25.”
