Men's Basketball![]() The Paris Junior College Dragons men's basketball team — national champions in 2004-05 season and conference champions in the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons — captured the Region XIV title in 2008 and went on to place 8th nationally at the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in Hutchinson, Kan. Along the way the Dragons racked up 30 wins, a school record for wins in a single season. They followed up in 2009 with yet another trip to the Region XIV tournament. Women's Basketball![]() Competing in the best conference in the country for junior college women's basketball, PJC continues to build a quality all-around program. The Lady Dragons compete in Region XIV which has consistently produced NJCAA National Champions. The Lady Dragons, under Head Coach Sean LeBeauf, ended the 2000-2010 season with a trip to the Region XIV tournament semifinal game. Men's Baseball![]() When the Dragons baseball team takes the field, players carry with them a decades-old foundation of success and a history of sending players not only to the national collegiate scene, but also on to the major leagues. Head Coach Deron Clark fields teams that possess the drive and commitment necessary to take them to a higher level of play. The Dragons showcase their talent at beautiful "Hub" Hollis Field, a million-dollar baseball complex that is among the finest in the region. Women's Softball![]() Under the guidance of head coach Corey Lyon the Paris Junior College softball team has laid the foundation to be one of the best Junior College softball programs in the nation. With a philosophy built around exposure, placement and success, the Dragons softball program has averaged 40 wins a season, advanced to the post-season tournament, won a conference championship and has been ranked in the top 25 nationally each of the last two seasons. Paris Junior College competes in the Region XIV Eastern Division, which is widely regarded as one of the best softball regions in all of the NJCAA. Women's Volleyball![]() Since the PJC Dragons volleyball team formed in 2006, Head Coach Justin Maness has steadily built a team that has surprised many in their conference with the quality of their early play. In 2009 Maness' Dragons look to improve even more on court, while always keeping an eye on their first trip to post-season play. Men's Golf![]() Paris Junior College's golf program boasts a history of success: The Dragons squad boasts more than two dozen visits to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament. Coach David Johnson keeps his team geared for another run for the NJCAA finals. Johnson's philosophy is simple: Keep it fun. "It's not a problem getting them to play golf, to practice. It's getting them to have some fun." |
