To qualify to apply for the Community College Counselor Workshop Scholarship of $250, students must have completed PJC's core curriculum requirements and be attending TAMU-T for the first time this fall for a minimum of six undergraduate hours.
Two advisors from Paris Junior College have snared a scholarship opportunity for a local PJC student by attending a workshop at Texas A&M University - Texarkana. The scholarship is for PJC students planning to attend Texas A&M University - Texarkana this fall semester. “This is a wonderful opportunity for any current or former PJC student who meets the requirements and is planning to go to Texarkana this fall,” said PJC Counseling Director Barbara Thomas. “The application must be received by TAMU-T by July 25. Just contact us in the Counseling/Advising office in the Alford Center at 903-782-0426 for more information.” PJC received the opportunity to award the scholarship when two PJC Counseling Office advisors, Linda Miles and Donna Glass, attended the Texas A&M University - Texarkana Community College Counselor Workshop. To qualify to apply for the Community College Counselor Workshop Scholarship of $250, students must have completed PJC’s core curriculum requirements and be attending TAMU-T for the first time this fall for a minimum of six undergraduate hours. A PJC counselor must submit the application to TAMU-T on behalf of the student.
