The sessions, required before students may begin GED classes, will held on the Paris and Sulphur Springs campuses.
Paris Junior College Adult Education and Family Literacy Department will hold orientation Oct. 13-16 for new students wishing to enroll in GED Preparation classes. Prior to starting classes, incoming students must complete orientation requirements. Once orientation is concluded, students may begin attending classes. Orientation will be held at Paris Junior College from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14. An alternate evening session will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 and 16. Students must attend both evenings. All of these orientation sessions will be held in the Mike Rheudasil Learning Center. Orientation will be held at the Paris Junior College Sulphur Springs Center from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 14 and 16. Students must attend both days. The alternate evening session will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 and 14. Students must attend both evenings. If participants are 16 years old, a copy of their court order must be provided. If participants are 17 years old, an official withdrawal from high school is required for class admission. GED Preparation classes are available in Paris, Sulphur Springs and Cooper. For further information, call 903-782-0424.
