Section: Golf ResultsHarbor Lakes Invitational 2007The Paris Junior College golf team finished in third place at the Harbour Lakes Invitational in Granbury March 11-13. The Dragons shot rounds of 299 and 293 for a 592 total, which put them just two shots behind Odessa (590) and one shot behind TCU (591). Paris was led by Freshman Ben Montgomery, who tied for third place individually. Montgomery fired rounds of 74 and 70 (144) to finish at even par for the tournament and was named to the all tournament team. We played poorly in our first two tournaments, but I believe that was due to recent bad weather preventing practice. We bounched back well this tournament, it was more like the scores we shot in the fall. We needed to play well, and we did. But most important, we put ourselves in position to win the tournament. Though we didn't win, we saw we are capable of winning. Final Standings
