Tyler Junior College Intercollegiate Tournament

The Paris Junior College Dragons competed Tuesday in the rain-shortened Tyler Junior College Intercollegiate Tournament held at Eagles Bluff Country Club in Bullard, Texas.

After the first round was cancelled, Dragons finished in a second-place tie with Lon Morris. Each team yielded scores of 315.

The Dragons were led by Sophomore Beau Davis from Abilene with a round of 74 and second-place individual honors. Other PJC scores were Dustin Nelson, 78; Andrew Brauer, 79; Jason Timmis, 84; and Nathan Blankenship, 86.

The weather was a big factor for the second tournament in a row for the Dragons. The Eagles Bluff course showed how demanding it can be under wet and cold conditions with only 15 players in the field breaking into the 70s.
