Voter registration event set for Wednesday, Oct. 1

Local candidates have been invited to mingle with students at the event outside the McLemore Student Center.

The Paris Junior College Student Government Association will sponsor a voter registration event Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. outside the McLemore Student Center.

Local candidates have been invited to mingle with students at the event.

Voter registration cards must be completed and returned to the Lamar County Clerk’s office no later than Monday, Oct. 6, in order to be registered to vote in the Nov. 4 election.

Voter registration cards are located in the library, the McLemore Student Center, and the Bobby R. Walters Workforce Training Center.
