The teams traded the lead in the first two minutes of play. Then, trailing 5-4, PJC went on a 21-4 run led by Brittany Williams, LaKeisha Jones, Faryn Bills and Shamonica Adams, who combined for 19 of the points. All four finished in double figures for the game, Jones with 14, Adams with 12, and Williams and Bills 12 each. The Dragons would finish the half shooting 59 percent from the field in route to a 49-23 lead at the break. In the second half, Paris jumped out quickly, starting with a 14-3 run in the first 4:30 of the second stanza. Charinee and Tammila Mitchell each had five assists, while Jones, Williams and Adams added seven rebounds apiece. The Lady Dragons finished the game with a season-low 11 turnovers. I felt we did a great job taking care of the ball and did a great job defensively against a good Hill team. We never really let up, even when we got up by a large amount. That was good to see.
