 Two school records fell and another was tied Friday as the Lady Dragons won their opening game of the 2005 Lady Dragon Classic 107-27 over Mountain View College.
PJC set new records for assists (33) and steals (28) while the 107 points tied the record set by the 1994-95 team.
The game was 10-7 Paris in the early going. But a 27-2 run opened the game up, and the Lady Dragons never looked back.
PJC had seven players in double figures, led by LaKeisha Jones and Faryn Bills with 18 each. Brittany Williams chipped in 16, and Tammila Mitchell added 16 points and seven assists. Shay Runnels and Shamonica Adams each had 12 points, and Nighjah Marks had 10.
