PJC had five players score in double figures, led by sophomore wing Nighjah Marks with 16 points, including five 3-pointers. Also hitting for double digits were Brittany Williams and Charinee Mitchell with 15 points each, Faryn Bills with 14, and LaKeisha Jones with 11. Kristin Ford led Paris with 10 rebounds. The Lady Dragons jumped out to a quick start, scoring 22 of the game’s first 24 points, including a 15-0 run that made the score 22-2 in the first 6 1/2 minutes of the game. Despite 17 first-half turnovers, PJC finished the first half with a commanding 54-19 lead. The Lady Dragons continued to pull away in the second half thanks in part to 9 of 15 shooting from the 3-point line. For the game, PJC made a school record 15 3-pointers and shot a school record 53.6 percent from beyond the arc.
