The Lady Dragons trailed by as much as 11 early in the second half, 45-34. A Shay Runnels 3-point field goal at the 16:40 mark broke the ice cold PJC shooting and narrowed the gap to 8. The two teams traded baskets before a LaKeisha Jones 3-pointer cut the lead to 48-46. Fort Smith opened the lead back up to 7. PJC battled back, though, cutting the lead to 1 with 7:00 to play, 61-60. The game would see three lead changes and three ties in the last seven minutes, the last coming with 0:49 to play at 75-75. Two Krystle Adams free throws gave Paris a 2-point lead. The Lady Dragons defense then came up big with a stop and Tammila Mitchell rebound. After being fouled, Mitchell made one of two free throws to give the game its final score, 78-75. Adams finished the game with 22 points on four of six shooting from the 3-point line. LaKeisha Jones added 14 points and nine rebounds. LaKeisha Jones has moved into eighth on the PJC all-time scoring list with 607 career points. She is also fourth in field goals made with 241.
