Published or Revised March 31, 2006

PJC Department of Speech and Theatre is opening David Auburn's Pulitzer Prize and Tony award winning play "Proof" Friday, April 7, at 7:30 at the Ray Karrer Theatre. The play centers on Catherine, a young woman who has put her life and her studies on hold to take care of her father, a once-brilliant mathematician. Catherine knows that she may have inherited her father's mathematical brilliance, but worries that she also may inherit much more. Kristy Riffle is playing Catherine. Other performers are Josh Baker (Robert), Stephanie Steinkoenig (Claire) and Matt Ham (Hal). Theater instructor Cathy Huey is directing the play. Performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. on April 7, 8, 14 and 15. Tickets are $5 per person. PJC students and faculty may attend free of charge.
