Water Quality Monitor Certification

Texas Stream Team is a citizen scientist program where volunteers pick a public waterway and monitor water quality monthly. Data is turned in to the state and EPA and TCEQ, so the data may be used to see if further monitoring should be done. Kits are provided free of charge for the monitoring. A state certificate is provided and this opportunity is open to the public. No previous science training is required. Training is open to anyone sixteen years old and older. Bring a sack lunch and wear walking shoes.

Pre-Registration is required. Course Fee: Free (6 Hours)
