PJC Student Art Exhibit Reception Tuesday, April 25

Paris Junior College will hold a reception opening the Spring Art Student Show and student awards from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25 in the Foyer Gallery.

New Aviation Maintenance Technology program approved at PJC

Modifications to existing programs and creation of a new aviation maintenance technology program were addressed at the Paris Junior College Board of Regents meeting held on Monday, March 27, 2023.

PJC offering six robotic coding camps this summer

Paris Junior College is again offering a robotics coding camp made possible by the Texas Workforce Commission during June, July and August 2023. The free one-week camp is for students entering the sixth, seventh, or eighth grades in the 2023-24 school year.

PJC announces East Texas Giving Day matching donor

On April 25, 2023 Paris Junior College will join over 195 nonprofit organizations throughout north and east Texas as part of East Texas Giving Day. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor there will be a $5,000 match gift.

Guest artist exhibit reception April 4 at PJC

A guest artist exhibit at the Paris Junior College Foyer Gallery will hold a closing reception on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Artist Christy Wittmer will be present to explain her installation of "Mineral." The reception follows an art workshop for area high school students.

PJC announces Fall 2022 President’s and Dean’s Lists

Paris Junior College is pleased to announce that 184 students were named to the President’s and Dean’s lists for academic achievement during the Fall 2022 semester.

Spring students to be awarded $1500/$500 (All funds now awarded)

Paris Junior College students taking 15 semester credit hours could receive $1,500 this spring semester and other students $500; qualifying students could also receive a free laptop. Qualifying applicants received funds on a first-come, first-serve basis and the funds were all awarded as of Jan. 23, 2023.

PJC holding Saturday registration, Open Houses

To accommodate working students, all locations of Paris Junior College will be open for special Saturday registration from 10 a.m. to noon on August 20, 2022. The college will also hold special Open Houses at each location from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to introduce students to workforce program faculty.

PJC empowers students with move to 8-week classes

Building on a long-standing commitment to student success, a majority of Paris Junior College courses will transition from 16-week to eight-week terms this fall. Students registering for Fall 2022 courses will choose Fall 1 from August 29 to October 24 and Fall 2 from October 24 to December 15.
