Assistant Director Adult Education - Hunt County

Responsibilities:  Supports and coordinates the Adult Education Program in Hunt County.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Master degree preferred.  Prior experience in an Adult Education setting preferred.  Knowledge of policies and procedures, operating procedures, performance requirements, evaluation, proposal writing and grant management.  Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with community groups, strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; provide high-level customer service, problem solve, critical thinking, manage conflicts, maintain confidentiality; analyze data, monitor performance targets, develop action plans for areas needing improving; multi-task, prioritize, utilize resources.  Computer and current technology skills. Experience with marketing and promotion.  Possess a sincere desire to help adults enter college and/or workplace.  Must have current driver’s license and reliable transportation.  Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

Salary: The annual salary for this position is $35,750 and is contingent upon grant funding through Adult Education and Family Literacy program
