Pyro’s Reboot Program
Published or Revised February 19, 2025
Paris Junior College doesn’t want past debt to stand in the way of former students completing their educational journey. That’s why PJC created Pyro’s Reboot Program to help get students back on track to earn a certificate or degree.
- Students who owe $500 or less can enroll in classes right away without making a payment.
- Students who owe more than $500 need to reduce their balance to $500 to qualify. Students may be able to use up to $200 in financial aid to help pay this amount.
Once students complete all the coursework for a certificate or degree, PJC will waive up to $500 of the remaining balance.
To stay eligible for Pyro’s Reboot Program, students need to:
- Enroll in at least 6 credit hours each semester.
- Take courses listed on a specific degree plan.
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA each semester.
- Stay in good disciplinary standing at PJC.
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) and apply for financial aid.
- Cover current enrollment costs.
Financial aid and payment plans can be used for current enrollment costs. Students will participate in regular check-ins with Student Success Coach/Advisor located in the Alford Center.
Paris Junior College is here to help former students reboot their educational journey. Let’s get started!
